hey it's me!

20 years ago, I never could have imagined that I'd be a Mom of two boys. Everyday is like tackling a new bargain between these toddlers, solving a different puzzle, and kissing another owie. It is exhausting but it's never boring!

I will never forget the first time that I traveled on an airplane by myself. I had two dozen boxes of Krispy Kreme en route to Juneau requested by my cousin. It was like a bus stop on the way there that every time I woke up after dozing off, a different passenger was sitting next to me. The only thing consistent was each of them thanking me for the donuts like I was sharing. Even though I knew it was a joke, I tucked that bag in-between my legs and held on to the handles so tight.

I don't like to admit it but I also love driving on long road trips...

My favorite childhood memory is when we climbed guava trees in my grandma's yard. One of the cousins will get a bowl of sweet vinegar ready for us to dip the crunchy green guavas while someone washes and preps the fruits to share. We only picked the green guavas because the super ripe ones were saved for a warm dessert dish cooked in coconut cream, jackfruit, and tapioca balls.

Something you'd never guess about me is that I wanted to be a Forensic Pathologist when I was younger. When I found out Scully's profession on X-Files, I knew I wanted to do that but long-story short, I'm not very good at studying and my memory isn't great.
